Xpelair puts users in control

Share

Xpelair Ventilation Solutions has launched the ConneX range of RF (radio frequency) controls – the ideal command solution for the commercial and housing markets that puts users in complete control of their ventilation requirements.

The battery-less ConneX controllers can be used with up to 10 units of the same size at a distance of 25 meters*, something that is particularly important in large commercial settings where multiple units will be crucial to attaining appropriate IAQ levels. This means that rather than adjusting units individually, multiple units throughout commercial premises or homes can be adjusted at the touch of a button.

To compliment the design of the RF controls, the GX EC3 RF range of Carbonlite commercial fans, has been designed specifically to provide optimum ventilation performance with the RF controller. The new systems feature in-built sensors that enable them to be operated remotely, eliminating the need for costly additional wiring and leaving hard wired controls a thing of the past.

Due to the ease of use, the RF controls have the potential to significantly reduce running costs by enabling the ventilation units to run at a required rate as specified by the user as opposed to running at a constant rate.

Mark Quigley, Commercial Director at Xpelair, commented: “The ConneX remote frequency controls offer style and functionality in one and provide users with the opportunity to control their environment better than ever before.

“This battery-less solution sends signals remotely to the unit or units and can be used with up to 10 of the same size units, offering a centrally located control solution that allows quick and easy adjustments at the touch of a button, meaning required maintenance is minimal.”

The ease of installation is also an important aspect of the design and can represent significant savings in installer time and project costs. Also, the kinetic properties of the ConneX controllers means that batteries are not needed and therefore do not have to be maintained.

The simple and easy to use design features four control options ensuring users have multiple options when operating the fans to create a comfortable environment.
