Wienerberger updates its award winning brick selector app to further benefit customers
Wienerberger, has released an update for its award-winning Brick Selector App which features new products and further compatibility benefits. The update brings the App in line with Wienerberger’s current range of bricks adding 40 new products alongside some changes to existing product specifications.
The Brick Selector App is the ideal tool, to help in the selection of bricks from Wienerberger’s vast range, enabling the user to find the right brick at the touch of a button. Users can search for a brick by name, or by entering specific criteria such as colour, texture and style to help refine their search. Once users have selected a brick, they can then view technical information on it, order samples, or share the details of the selected brick with others via email. A key feature of the App enables users to view several bricks alongside each other enabling them to be compared.
Richard Brown, Wall Category Marketing Manager at Wienerberger, commented:
“Wienerberger was the first brick manufacturer to launch a brick selector App. The initial version was very well received and the feedback has been fantastic. The updated version will add to the established benefits of the App to make it easier for users to find exactly what they’re looking for. Watch this space for further new features and updates!”
The App was named the winner in the ‘Most Effective Mobile Application – B2B’ category at the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, following its initial launch in 2012. The updated App also provides compatibility benefits when used with Apple’s latest OS, iOS7x and with Apple iPhone 5 devices.
In order to get the update, existing users can update their App in the usual way (for example, check the ‘Updates’ section of the App Store app on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch).
Apple iOS or Android device users not yet using the Wienerberger Brick Selector App can download it for free by visiting the iTunes App store or the Android market and searching for ‘Wienerberger’.
