Potterton Commercial launches the new Sirius Two WH boiler range

Potterton Commercial, a market leading brand of Baxi Commercial, single source supplier of high efficiency and low carbon heating and hot water solutions, has launched the Sirius two WH. Developed over the last three years from the successful Sirius WH, the all new Sirius two WH represents the very latest in condensing wall-hung boiler technology.
Most notable are improved boiler efficiencies and reduced carbon emissions resulting from advanced boiler controls and a market-leading modulation range now operating at an impressive 9:1 ratio. This enables optimised heating comfort for end users as well as cost savings through close matching of the boiler heating output to the demands of the building.
The new compact dimensions, giving a reduction in height and depth as well as in case width (from 600mm to 450mm), have resulted in a range of significantly smaller appliances that are lighter, by 25kg for some models, and therefore easier to transport and install.
Offering thermal outputs from 50kW to 110kW, the Sirius two WH has an efficiency rating of 94% gross ∆T50°C. The stainless steel heat exchanger material has excellent heat transfer properties providing the ability to cope with the rigours of modern heating systems and varying system water supply quality.
The new modular boiler frames and accessories for cascade management are critically important when installing high kW thermal outputs in a confined space, facilitating a professional plant room installation. An outside weather sensor, supplied as standard in every boiler in compliance with Building Regulations Part L2, (current version), further increases heating efficiencies.
The latest Siemens controls facilitate flexibility of boiler operation and plant room application with options for: multi-boiler cascade management, which is supplied as standard, multi-zone management and domestic hot water control with a supporting range of room units and accessories. Also supplied as standard is an Energy related Products (ErP) ready control for modulating pumps. In addition, these boilers are capable of full BMS integration.
The Sirius two WH also benefits from modern styling befitting both larger domestic premises and all commercial applications.
