Share

Promat UK has annouced the launch of a new website which gives full details of the wide range of fire-resistant glazing, security, blast-resistant and safety glass available from its Promat Securiglass division. The move follows Promat’s recent acquisition of Yorkshire-based C3S Securiglass, which has long been one of the UK’s leading suppliers in this area.

The new site can be found at www.promatsecuriglass.co.uk, and it explains how Promat Securiglass combines outstanding industry expertise and impartial technical advice with an extensive product range. That product range includes many industry leading solutions such as Pyrobel fire-resistant glass, ClearRun insulated and butt-jointed fire-resistant glass, and the company’s Smokestream glazed smoke curtain products.

Promat Securiglass prides itself on its ability to design and deliver fire protection solutions which meet or exceed all the relevant client, British and European standards. With this in mind, visitors to the new site can download a wide range of detailed product data sheets, plus a number of product brochures and product certifications.

“Our aim is for the site to become a valuable resource for people involved in specifying and installing fire-resistant and security glazing,” says Promat’s Strategic Business Development Manager, Ian Cowley. “To compliment the downloadable information, there’s also a Frequently Asked Questions section that covers various areas including the benefits of different types of glasses, glass thicknesses, plus rebates and beading.”

With fire-resistant and security glazing becoming increasingly popular options for modern buildings, the site also provides a gallery section with numerous project images which show some of the design possibilities that can be achieved. The site is completed by a quick-search product selector tool, and links to the main Promat UK website where visitors can find details of the UK’s most comprehensive range of passive fire protection products.
