Part of the Care in Bathing group, Gainsborough has manufactured in the UK for over 25 years and these new showers provide architects, designers and building specifiers with several advantages. The modular shower units with low-level access and integrated folding seats are ideal for new build or retrofit installations in long term care settings. Both durable and versatile, they are ergonomically designed for improved carer and resident comfort. They incorporate Gainsborough’s innovative MicroGuard antimicrobial protection which greatly reduces cross-infection and TMV2/3 thermostatically controlled water prevents scalding.
Available in three modular sizes for various room layouts, the new assistive showers from Gainsborough maximise accessibility in high traffic bathing environments. Each shower module comes with an easy access, slip resistant shower tray and is available with half-height shower doors or flat glass screens. Showering comfort is further enhanced with the addition of a soft-touch, padded seat or mobile shower chair to assist with client transfers in and out of the bathroom.
