New Fire Resistant Steel Door From Schueco Jansen

New to the comprehensive range of steel windows, doors and façades available from leading steel systems supplier, Schueco Jansen, is the Janisol 2 Fire-Resistant Sliding Door. This combines an elegant appearance with a high level of protection against flame and heat.

Constructed from tried-and-tested Janisol profiles and engineered to allow an inward (break-in) or outward (break-out) direction of escape depending upon location, this versatile new door is available in either a single-leaf or a double-leaf configuration.

The Janisol 2 door can be supplied with or without side and top lights and with or without an emergency exit function. If the latter is specified, the door can be fitted with emergency exit hardware conforming to EN 1125 or EN 179, while the complete door system has been fully tested to EI30 in accordance with EN 1634-1.

If configured as a single leaf construction, the Janisol 2 door offers a clear opening up to 1400 mm wide and 2500 mm high, whereas with double leaves, the clear opening is up to 2800 mm wide and 2500 mm high. Whether constructed with single or double leaves, there is no necessity for a floor guide in the opening area.

There is a wide selection of approved glazing for the new Janisol 2 Fire-Resistant Sliding Door and leading companies such as Dorma, Golgen, Tormax and Record can supply and commission approved actuator systems.
