Maxwood offers extra tall cubicle systems

Share

Maxwood’s comprehensive collection of washroom systems now includes extra tall cubicles for added privacy in education, healthcare and commercial applications. The XT (Xtra Tall) options give architects and specifiers a choice of cubicles to fit almost every feasible height of room.
This XT variant is available for a range of Maxwood’s most popular cubicle systems with panels manufactured from High Pressure Laminate (HPL) or Solid Grade Laminate (SGL). XT versions can be specified for the distinctive Modelle, with its unique profiled pilasters; the Motiv, which combines everyday good looks with durability; and the high performing Marin, a strong, water-resistant solution for even the most challenging environments.

max2The overall height of a standard Maxwood cubicle system is around 1960mm including foot and head rail. Whilst this meets the requirements of most applications, a ‘one size fits all’ approach is not always appropriate when it comes to washroom design, explains Andrew Taylor, Maxwood’s Marketing Manager. He comments:

“Getting the detailing right, and that includes cubicle height, can make a significant difference to washroom users, whether the facilities are in a primary school, leisure centre or commercial office. That’s why we offer a choice of door heights, including our XT option, which provides a greater degree of visual privacy in all kinds of environment, and particularly unisex washrooms.”

max3Maxwood’s XT range is available in three sizes, XT1, XT2 and XT3. XT1 has 2100mm high cubicles with 100mm legs, XT2 cubicles are up to 2600mm high with 20mm legs and XT3 cubicles are over 2600mm high with 20mm legs. The 20mm legs on the XT2 and XT3 ensure there is the required privacy both at floor and ceiling level.

The XT version of Maxwood’s Modelle HPL cubicle system completes the luxury of this elegant solution with its concealed floor fixings. Combining style and cost-efficiency, the Motiv XT cubicle system with HPL panels is a firm favourite for applications such as office washrooms and school toilets. Maxwood’s Marin XT is manufactured from strong, water-resistant compact SGL, making it the perfect choice for areas of high humidity such as changing rooms in leisure centres and for demanding institutional settings.
