The Safety Letterbox Company – based in Neath, South Wales – was enlisted by specialist joinery and fit-out contractor Houston Cox Central to provide custom-made mailboxes at the Gasholders London development, located next to the Regent’s Canal in the heart of Kings Cross.

The Gasholders London comprises of 145 apartments and penthouses within refurbished interlocking, Grade II listed gasholder triplets. The development is noted for its combination of Victorian and 21st-century innovation to establish a highly sought-after luxury residence in London.

Wilkinson Eyre Architects approached The Safety Letterbox Company to create a curved bank of mailboxes for the development’s ground floor reception area. The specification outlined a particular emphasis on the hinge and finish of the products, while providing a contemporary design and functional mail delivery solution.
