INSPIRE YOUR CLIENTS WITH A STILTZ HOME LIFT AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO YOUR NEXT BUILDING PROJECT

Share

The Stiltz Home Lift offers inspiration for architects working on client projects by introducing a unique, space-saving solution which delivers a more convenient way for clients to moving from floor to floor throughout their home.

With sales of home lifts on the rise in the UK and beyond, the range of stylish Stiltz lifts are one-of-a-kind globally. They can be installed virtually anywhere within a domestic residence irrespective of décor, ceiling profile, build material or age/style of home. The Stiltz Home Lift has a small footprint of less than one square metre, but is spacious enough to comfortably carry two people.

The flexible range of Stiltz domestic lifts include the stylish and compact Duo Lifts and the wheelchair-friendly Trio Lifts. All are available in the Classic, the Thru-car and the contemporary, clear-sided Vista models.

Stiltz work in partnership with architects, interior designers, builders and their clients to establish the best location for the lift in the home during initial site assessment phase.

Homeowners typically have a need for a home lift because using stairs is becoming a challenge. However, forward-looking clients who are significantly remodelling their home, are often keen to ‘future proof’ their property. A home lift takes away any need to downsize to a single storey home or to build a ground floor extension in coming years.

Most commonly, the Stiltz Home Lift will be fitted in a hallway or living room and travel upstairs to a main bedroom or landing area. This is a typical retrofit application but there are many other – almost limitless – options too, especially during an extension or new build project. Clients can choose to display their lift, or conceal it within a cupboard so it blends more readily with their décor.

On a practical level, the Stiltz Home Lifts range have a number of unique features which set them apart from other lift manufacturers, and make them ideal for domestic applications.

The Stiltz domestic lift has its own quiet self-contained drive system. This means no noisy hydraulic equipment is needed. It simply plugs straight into the wall using a standard domestic 13 amp power socket, just like any other household appliance such as a kettle, microwave or toaster.

The Stiltz Home Lift travels from floor to floor on self-supporting stilts using discreet wire rope hoists that guide the lift safely and quietly. Because the lift is delivered in modular sections, a typical retrofit application can be installed in just one day. No pit, no lift shaft, no mess and no hassle.

The Stiltz Home Lift is fully compliant with the European Machinery Directive 2006 / 42 / EC. Many safety features are standard in all the lifts including a battery back-up to lower the lift in the event of a power cut (optional UPS is also available), a full height light curtain which stops the lift car when breached, top and bottom obstruction sensors and a key lock to stop unauthorised use. Other standard features include two remote controls to call the lift from any floor, internal LED downlights and half-height door.

Optional extras include a fold down seat, interior grab rail, full height door and interior telephone. Clients can customise their lift by choosing their own bespoke lift colour, rails and interior lining to ensure a close match with their specified décor.
