High Level Bespoke Corporate Signage for HSBC European Headquarters at Canary Wharf, London.

Tara Signs recently completed one of its most daring and challenging projects to date. Having beaten off fierce competition that involved bids from many major worldwide sign manufacturers, Tara Signs has designed, manufactured and assisted in the installation of the impressive HSBC lettering and logo on top of the 5th tallest building in London, and 34th tallest building in Europe.

As a one off project, it is one of the largest of its kind within the northern hemisphere in recent years.  The project has been over 2 years from inception to installation and Tara has had to overcome many challenges in all areas of design, manufacture and installation in order to successfully complete the works.

Standing at an impressive 5 metres high and 30 metres long, the new signage completes the impressive landmark and cements its place into the famous London skyline. On completion, the lettering appears black during the day and shines bright white at night when the lighting is switched on, allowing the building to stand out amongst the high-rise skyline of Canary Wharf.

The Facts

Track

There is over 4 miles of LED Lighting installed within the four letters and logo on the four sides of the building, consisting of over 20,000 modules in red and white. The length of LED lighting is enough to go round a 400m running track over 16 times, or stretch from Canary Wharf to the Bank of England.
