DANLERS team up with CASAMBI to deliver wireless control of energy-saving occupancy and daylight sensors

At The White Company store in Norwich, designers Dalziel and Pow (D&P) have created an all-LED store experience with a domestic, ‘home-from-home’ quality that takes customers on a journey through the space and engages them with the products on offer. In doing so, the company has taken advantage of the comprehensive range of LED luminaires available from Reggiani Lighting to ensure the lighting plays a key role in that experience.


When Irish architect and farmer, Patrick Bradley, came up with a design for his own home that would be like nothing seen before, he was determined to include as many state-of-the art features as he could. Of the lighting and heating systems, his key requirement was the intelligent control of all of the functions via his iPad or mobile phone. He presented this challenge to contractor, AK Electrical, which installed a system based on controls from electrical solutions and services provider Hager.

CP Electronics’ Lighting Controls Help Energy Efficiency at Somerstown Community Hub

Taking Control of Lighting at Sunderland College’s New Buildings

Two new buildings on the Bede campus at Sunderland College have been fitted with a networked lighting management system from CP Northern to ensure optimum use of lighting with minimum energy consumption and carbon emissions.

The £22 million expansion of the Bede campus includes a new sports hall with fitness suite, sports laboratories and teaching rooms, while the second building provides a new performance hall, dance and drama studios, music recording studios and a digital film lounge.

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) Announce Winner of ‘Delight in Light’ 2014 Competition

The LIA’s 2014 ‘Delight in Light’ competition has been won by Peter Iveson, a recent graduate of Dundee University with a strong passion for practical design.  Peter’s design ‘Study Bright‘, offered an alternative, low running cost solution powered by three very bright LEDs that allows students to study in total darkness for the cost of one tea candle each evening. If the user needs to move away from their work space then the light can be simply folded into a torch and carried around for short periods of time.


A brand new £1.2 million tennis centre has been opened in Portsmouth and is the first of its kind to benefit from LED lighting, all of which has been provided by Luxonic.
