Top 100 ‘green’ Twitter influencers revealed

The wait is finally over – Ecobuild has announced the #Ecobuild100 – the top 100 Twitter influencers from across the sustainable construction, design and the built environment. Check out the #Ecobuild100 here:

In just three weeks the campaign received over 1800 tweets from the global sustainable built environment community reaching more than 2,562,566 sustainable built environment professionals and enthusiasts across Twitter. Over 280 experts were nominated.

Tea With An Architect

Gabrielle Omar, best known as the first architect to appear on BBC1’s hit TV show The Apprentice, is launching a new campaign, ‘Tea With An Architect’ to integrate communities with their local architect.


A South Wales business has significantly reduced its carbon footprint through the installation of solar PV panels on its factory buildings. Solar Windows Ltd of Bedwas, Caerphilly, has invested in a 110.4 kWp Enfinity system, making it one of the largest installations of its type in the area.

Ecobuild is back and looking to the future for sustainable design

Ecobuild ( ), the world’s premier showcase for sustainability and the built environment, returns to London’s ExCeL in March 2013.  We take a closer look at what’s on offer for the architectural technology community.

Ecobuild – taking place from March 5th to 7th at London’s ExCeL, should be a date in the diary for anyone working in the architecture field. It’s the world’s largest showcase for sustainable design and construction and offers more than 1,500 exhibitors, 1100 expert speakers, plus dozens of interactive and educational attractions.

Viessmann to show systems engineering leadership at Ecobuild

Viessmann, one of the leading international manufacturers of heating systems, will demonstrate the benefits of its system engineering approach at Ecobuild (March 5-7, 2013; ExCel; London – stand N2620). In addition to nine traditional and renewable heating products are a series of sector-specific graphics illustrating how modern, efficient and high performing heating systems can be easily integrated.  

Boon Edam to showcase energy generating door at Ecobuild 2013

Boon Edam will be exhibiting in March at Ecobuild, the world’s largest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. The 2013 show is taking place at Excel London on 5-7th March and you will find Boon Edam on stand N816.

They will be showcasing their energy generating revolving door – the NRG+2 Tourniket, as well as highlighting the “always open, always close” benefits that revolving doors have on energy consumption.
