Boon Edam to showcase energy generating door at Ecobuild 2013

Boon Edam will be exhibiting in March at Ecobuild, the world’s largest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. The 2013 show is taking place at Excel London on 5-7th March and you will find Boon Edam on stand N816.

They will be showcasing their energy generating revolving door – the NRG+2 Tourniket, as well as highlighting the “always open, always close” benefits that revolving doors have on energy consumption.

The NRG+2 Tourniket is equipped with a power generating unit that produces electricity from kinetic energy conversion, when people enter. Like other revolving doors, a significant saving on heat loss is achieved over standard sliding or swing doors.
