The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited

Share

The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited has two events in May, covering the north and south of England.  First is The Petworth Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair, taking place from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 May, in West Sussex (www.petworthparkfair.com).  The following week, The Antiques & Fine Art Fair at Harewood opens in the ground of Harewood House, near Leeds in West Yorkshire from Friday 12 until Sunday 14 May (www.harewoodfair.com).

All fairs organised by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited (www.adfl.co.uk) offer a diverse collection of disciplines exhibited by expert dealers selling unique objects from contemporary art to fine antique furniture and sometimes antiquities and outdoor sculpture. Most are members of the UK’s two professional associations: BADA and LAPADA.

For almost a year, the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (www.qest.org.uk) has been the chosen charity, often with QEST scholars taking part in the fair, showing their skills and taking commissions. There will be two different craftspeople joining at Harewood, one a stonemason and letter carver, the other a sculptor working with different materials including marble and stone.

With these two upcoming events, there is an opportunity to enjoy the actual houses too, as well as the grounds and current exhibitions.  All fairs run by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited offer light refreshments and there is ample free parking for antiques fair ticket holders at both Petworth Park and Harewood.  For further information, contact The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited on +44 (0)1797 252030 email arch@adfl.co.uk.
