Alumasc Rainwater Launches New AX Extruded Aluminium Gutter System

As Britain says goodbye to summer and braces itself for the unpredictable conditions of autumn and winter, Alumasc Rainwater has launched its new AX Extruded Aluminium Gutter Systems.
The new AX range offers pioneering high capacity gutter systems, available in a choice of three profiles – Beaded Half Round, Beaded Half Round Deep Run and Moulded, which are ideal for both traditional and modern buildings, and suited to flush and projecting eaves applications alike.
AX is constructed from 100% recyclable aluminium, offering a cost-effective, lightweight, durable and highly corrosion resistant alternative to uPVC. It is low maintenance and offers an impressive life expectancy of up to 40 years, designed to fully accommodate thermal movement at every joint.
Installation and fixing is quick and easy, with the AX Extruded Aluminium Gutter Systems range utilising the very simple and well-proven method of wet sealed and bolted joints. Gutter joints are secured with screws or bolts through integral holes or slots and the system is fixed by brackets as well as an option to direct fix for the moulded profile.
The AX range is offered in a wide range of colours and finishes with BBA approved polyester powder coatings, factory applied by Alumasc. 26 standard colours are available and additional BS or RAL colours available to special order. The gutters can also be supplied in a plain mill finish for on-site painting.
AX has been introduced as part of the ongoing development of Alumasc Rainwater’s products and services. The package of improvements also includes the introduction of a new steel range, major improvements on the lead times for a number of its most popular products, an expanding sales force and the creation of specialist appointments to meet demand for bespoke and technically-challenging projects.

The new AX range is UK manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 factory certified conditions, based on aluminium extrusions to BS 1474:1972.
